Sarah’s Bathroom
I’m going to start off with Sarah’s bathroom because it is seriously stunning. If you want to watch her reveal over on her Youtube channel, you can check it out here.
I mean just LOOK at these pictures! When she first sent them over, my jaw hit the floor. Everything from the basket of flowers to her gold faucet is perfection.
I’m in love with the brick accent wall. It warms up the room so nicely. And check out her sconces and gold mirror. Dreamy. SO so dreamy.
I love Sarah’s sense of style and that her eye for design is impeccable. Plus, she also loves to thrift. She does many thrift decor hauls, and I think you guys are going to absolutely love her!

Vintage Cottage Bathroom Renovation
Now… Jumping into our renovation, I want to share with you guys what this bathroom looked like before. It is a very small space and is not your typical “master bath”. When I first saw this room, it was so dark and closed in. The walls were purple, and everything seemed dated. The sink, shower, and toilet were brown, and the linoleum flooring was peeling up.
We started by ripping out the toilet, vanity, and flooring. Once that was complete, we had our paneling mudded, and we painted the walls, ceiling, and trim Chantilly Lace by Benjamin Moore.
Then, I had to figure out what I was going to use in order to replace the items we tore out. For flooring, I chose a simple marble-like floor tile with grey grout.
We considered cutting the shower out and replacing it, but that required cutting it into two pieces in order to be removed- and that’s a ton of work/money/time. I started searching for other options, and that’s when I stumbled across Tub & Tile. It is an epoxy that hardens when cured and creates an outer layer over the original fiberglass. I thought we didn’t have much to lose, and it was worth trying out for $25.
And… it worked! 3 coats of Tub & Tile, and a year later, we still have a nice, white shower. It hasn’t chipped or cracked, and we ended up replacing the shower head and spray painting the knobs to match.
From there, we installed our toilet and sink. I happened to stumble upon my sink when searching Facebook Marketplace, and I only paid $35 for it. It come with a really pretty gold faucet that matched the color scheme I was going for. I loved the curved lines to it and how it opened up the space.
The rest was simply design and decorating. I ended up removing the cabinet door and painting the interior of the cabinet and window trim Stone Hearth by Benjamin Moore. I styled the shelves with items such as jars and baskets that I thrifted, and I found the medicine cabinet at a yard sale for $15.
The gold frames were also thrifted, and I purchased the prints from Etsy. I specifically purchased this print and this print. They reminded me so much of Mississippi and specifically my parent’s farm. Plus, I love the color palate of them.
The mirror was a thrift find from my mom. She picked it up a few years ago and didn’t have any space for it in her house. So, she gifted it to me, and it matched perfectly with the rest of the decor!
